Privacy Policy

This policy describes what OnOffDeals (onoffdeals.ai, operated by Axiom Semantics Consulting LLC of Chicago, Illinois) collects, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what's needed to run a deal-analysis account, we never see or store your card number, and we don't sell your data.

What we collect

Account: your name (optional), email address and a hashed password — we can't read the password itself. Usage: the property addresses you look up, the deals you save, your plan and monthly lookup counts, and standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) used for security and rate-limiting. Payments: handled entirely by Stripe; we store only your Stripe customer id, subscription id and plan, never card numbers.

How we use it

To operate the service (run your lookups, save your deals, meter your quota), to send transactional email (verification, password reset, and launch or billing notices) via our email provider (Resend), to bill subscriptions and overage through Stripe, and to keep the service secure. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we don't use your saved deals for anything except showing them back to you.

Text messages (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number and opt in on our text-alerts page, we use it only to send the messages you asked for — marketing texts such as deal alerts, offers and product updates. We record your consent (the date, the exact wording you agreed to, and technical details such as your IP) as proof that you opted in. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or your SMS opt-in consent with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Your text-message data is used solely to operate our own messaging program. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or reply HELP for help; opting out of texts does not affect your account or any transactional email.

Property data

The property information in the app (sales records, listings, rents, taxes, photos) comes from licensed real-estate data providers and public government sources. It describes properties, not you; your search history stays in your account and is not shared with other users.

Security and retention

Traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS), passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes, and access to production data is limited to the operators of the service. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise absolute security — but we build with the standard protections and keep the surface small. We keep your account data while your account exists; delete your account (or ask us to) and we remove your personal information within 30 days, except records we must keep for billing or legal reasons.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser local storage for your login session and small preferences (like having seen the product tour). We don't run third-party advertising trackers.

Your choices

You can update your name and password from the Account page, unsubscribe from non-essential email, and request a copy or deletion of your data by writing to info@onoffdeals.ai.
